Enrolling your child at Ripley Valley State School for Prep through to Year 6 is a quick five-step process.
Step 1 - Check the School Catchment Map
Please check the
EdMap school catchment map first to make sure you are eligible to enrol at Ripley Valley State School.
Step 2 - Complete Enrolment Documentation
Please read and complete the applicable following documents:
Step 3 - Proof of Residency
Provide proof of residency. You will need to provide two artefacts:
- One primary source – a current lease agreement, rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale and owner occupied (if building we need both land and house).
and -
One secondary source – an electricity or gas bill reflecting your in catchment address with the parent's/legal guardian's name.

Upon receipt, our school will contact you to arrange a Parent Induction at our school.
Step 4 - Attend a Mandatory Parent Induction Session
Parents are required to attend our mandatory parent Enrolment Induction hosted by a member of our Leadership Team. Outlining our school processes and policies to set our students up for success.
When attending your parent induction please ensure you bring the following documentation:
- Full and original birth certificate (no extracts or decorative certificates) or current Australian / New Zealand passport
- Legal Custody documents
Step 5 - School Uniforms and Other Resource Requirements
Organise school uniforms and other resource requirements before your child commences school.
