Enrolling your child at Ripley Valley State School for Prep through to Year 6 is a quick six-step process. We have made our enrolment documents available online to simplify the process.
Step 1 - Check the School Catchment Map
Please check the
EdMap school catchment map first to make sure you are eligible to enrol at Ripley Valley State School.
Please contact the office via
enrolments@ripleyvalleyss.eq.edu.au for more information about enrolling for 2023/2024.
Step 2 - Complete Enrolment Documentation
Please read and complete all of the following documents:
Step 3 - Proof of Residency
Provide proof of residency. You will need to provide two artefacts:
- One primary source – a current lease agreement, rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale and owner occupied (if building we need both land and house).
and -
One secondary source – a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name.

Upon receipt, the school will contact you to arrange an enrolment interview with the Enrolment Officer.
Step 4 - Read & Understand the School Policy & Procedures
Please read and complete all of the following documents:
Step 5 - Attend an Enrolment Induction Session
The Enrolment Induction Session for parents is where you will meet with the Principal or Deputy Principal. The Enrolment Officer will make arrangements for this at the Enrolment Induction.
When attending your enrolment induction please ensure you bring the following documentation:
- Full and original birth certificate (no extracts or decorative certificates) or current Australian / New Zealand passport
- Visa documents (if applicable)
- Legal Custody documents
- NAPLAN and latest report cards (if available)
- Health plans or medical documents
Step 6 - School Uniforms and Other Resource Requirements
Organise school uniforms and other resource requirements before your child commences school.
