Enrolling for Prep 2022




​​Enrolling in our school for Prep is a five-step process. We have made our documents available online to simplify the process.

The five-step process:

  • Step 1 - Complete Enrolment Documentation.
  • Step 2 - Read and Understand the School Policy and Procedures.
  • Step 3 - Liaise with the Enrolment Officer to ensure all documentation is completed.
  • Step 4 - Attend an Enrolment Induction Session.
  • Step 5 - Organise school uniforms and other resource requirements before your child commences school.

Before commencing the enrolment process for prep, use the online calculator accessible through this link: to check your child is age appropriate for 2021 prep enrolment. 
Children must turn five by 30 June, 2021 to commence Prep in 2021. 
Please note the beginning information on this Department of Education website and be aware that prep is the foundation year of formal schooling and is a fulltime school day (9.00-3.00) for five days each week and is based on the delivery of the Australian Curriculum.


Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education. It is compulsory for Queensland children to undertake Prep prior to Year 1. Prep is a full-time program in primary schools and has a defined curriculum. Children attend Monday to Friday, generally from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.


Step 1 - Complete Enrolment Documentation

Please read and complete all of the following documents:


Before proceeding to Step 2, please complete all documentation and return to

  • Full and original birth certificate (no extracts or decorative certificates) or current Australian / New Zealand passport must accompany the enrolment forms.

Upon receipt, the school will contact you to arrange an enrolment interview with the Enrolment Officer.

Step 2 - Read & Understand the School Policy & Procedures

Please read and complete all of the following documents prior to Enrolment Forum:


Step 3 - Liaise with the Enrolment Officer to ensure all Documentation is Completed

When attending your enrolment interview please ensure you bring the following documentation:

  • Visa documents (if applicable)
  • 2 x proof of residency (i.e. electricity bill with name and address)
  • Transition statements
  • Legal Custody documents
  • Health plans or medical documents

Step 4 - Attend an Enrolment Induction Session

The Enrolment Induction Session for parents is where you will meet with the Principal or Deputy Principal. The Enrolment Officer will make arrangements for this at the Enrolment Interview.
Before attending an Induction Forum:
    1. All forms must be completed as per step 1 and 2 and emailed to administration
    2. Acknowledgement of receipt of enrolment documents from the school has been received by the parent
    3. Further Information Form has been completed and emailed to
    4. Proof of residency has been validated by administration in November
