Back to School Boost
Commencing 2026, the Queensland Government has introduced the Back to School Boost, providing $100 for every primary school student (Prep to Year 6) to help with school related costs.
How it works:
- The $100 credit will be applied to your child's school account
- You can choose to use this credit for: o School organised camps, excursions, incursions, and extracurricular activities.
- Please note, as our school does not have a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) or a school run Uniform Shop entity, these funds will only be able to be used for Excursions and Incursions (When future excursion consent forms are sent out, there will be an option to make payment using the 'Back to School Boost')
Important information
- This is not a cash payment or voucher and cannot be used for purchases outside of our school (Refunds/ reimbursements cannot be processed)
- Any unused funds will carry over to the next year while your child remains at our school
- If your child changes schools or graduates Year 6, a request for refund can be requested
- Credit amounts will be applied to a student's account are as follows: o $100 for students enrolled on or before day 8 in term 1
- $75 for students enrolled on or before day 8 in term 2
- $50 for students enrolled on or before day 8 in term 3
- $25 for students enrolled by end of Week 8 in term 4
- The $100 credit cannot be used for pre-existing debts and/or invoices that relate to 2025 or earlier
- The credit is not transferable to another student's account (e.g. siblings)
- The credit cannot be transferred to other schools
